Dr. Kamneva is a clinical pharmacist at UNC Health REX and she oversees cardiovascular, critical care and neurology pharmacy services at UNC REX Healthcare. She is also a director for PGY2 Residency Programs in Cardiology and Critical Care. Dr. Kamneva received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and completed a PGY1 Residency at ECU School of Medicine/Vidant Healthcare in Greenville, NC. She has earned an Added Qualifications in Cardiology from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties for her clinical practice, research, and education in the area of cardiovascular pharmacotherapy and subsequently a Board Certification in Cardiology Pharmacy (BCCP). She also established and lef PGY2 Specialty Residency in Critical Care at UNC Health REX and is BCCCP certified.
Dr. Kamneva brings diverse experience from managing ambulatory care practice at Greenville CBOC Durham Veterans Affairs outpatient clinic and practicing as a cardiology critical care clinical pharmacist and medication safety pharmacist at Wake Med Health and Hospitals over the last 12 years. Her past experiences and interests include development of clinical initiatives, such as transition of care program, heart failure readmission program, prospective profile reviews in intensive care units, and developing learning experiences for doctor of pharmacy students, PGY1 residents, and PGY 2 cardiology and critical care residents. She is a member of ASHP, ACCP, SCCM, Critical Care and Cardiology PRN networks.
