Dr. Victoria Miles, originally from Lugoff, South Carolina, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at UNC Health Rex and is currently a PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at UNC Health Rex. Her practice interests include neurocritical care and infectious diseases within the critically ill patient population. She will participate in various teaching opportunities throughout the year, including precepting pharmacy students and residents as well as providing didactic instruction at UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Her current research project is investigating strategies for vasopressor de-escalation in patients with septic shock. After graduation, she plans to pursue BCCCP certification and employment as a critical care clinical pharmacist. Outside of residency, you can find her at the dog park with her puppy Dolly, relaxing near a large body of water, or exploring a new coffee shop.
