Lloyd Bailey, DNP, APN, AGACNP-BC, works as an Intensivist Nurse Practitioner at Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health (RWJBH). His professional journey began with the attainment of his BSN in 2014 from Chamberlain University in Addison, IL. Dr. Bailey boasts an extensive
clinical and critical care background, encompassing the emergency department, medical, cardiac, surgical, neuro, and cardiothoracic intensive care units. In 2021, he successfully completed his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a specialization in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner at Rutgers University in Newark. During his graduate program, he discovered that his passion for nursing propelled him to provide excellent care as he transitioned to the role of a nurse practitioner. Dr. Bailey is committed to advancing the role of advanced practice providers in critical care. In 2022, he played a pivotal role in establishing nurse practitioner provider coverage for the neuro-intensive care unit and cardio-thoracic intensive care unit at University Hospital, a state-designated Level 1 Trauma Center in Newark, NJ. In 2023, Dr. Bailey joined RWJBH, where he continues to grow professionally alongside experienced physicians and nurse practitioners at Clara Maass Medical Center. Currently residing in Rahway, NJ, Dr. Bailey enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends. Additionally, he is an enthusiastic angler who takes pleasure in cruising the Raritan Bay.
