Dr. Katelyn Butler is a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at Morton Plant Hospital, residing within the BayCare Health System. Her interests primarily include emergency medicine and neurocritical care, with a specialized interest in stroke care. She completed her undergraduate studies at Ball State University in Indiana and proceeded to complete her Doctor in Pharmacy degree from Purdue University. Upon graduating, she served as a PGY1 resident at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. Dr. Butler has been published in the Journal of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy for her research in comparing door-to-needle times of alteplase and tenecteplase. Recently, she was awarded the Best Overall Abstract award for her subgroup analysis, "Effect of Teleneurology on Door-to-Needle Times for Tenecteplase in Acute Ischemic Stroke," at the Florida Chapter of Society of Critical Care Medicine Conference.
