Dr. Raj Aneja is currently a Professor in the Department of Critical Care Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh and is the Clinical Chief of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. The National Institute of Health has funded Dr. Aneja since 2006 to examine the regulation of “danger-associated molecular patterns (DAMPS)” in sepsis and, more recently, for sepsis-associated brain injury.
