Ann-Marie Brown, PhD, CPNP-AC/PC, FCCM, FAANP is a Clinical Professor and Director, Acute Care PNP Program at the Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. In addition she is a Nurse Scientist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and PICU nurse practitioner at ECU Health System in Greenville, NC.
Dr. Brown’s research has primarily focused on nutrition in critically ill children, with a focus on on enteral nutrition delivery, intolerance and pathways to optimize nutrition therapy across the heterogeneous PICU population.
Her clinical background is as a PICU NP, where she held leadership positions for many years. She has served on the executive committee of the Pediatric Section of the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and is currently chair of the SCCM Social Media Committee.
