Elia Rackovsky, MD, is a Fellow in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore.
In 2013, Dr. Rackovsky received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Jay and Jeannie Schottenstein Honors Program at Yeshiva University. He was subsequently chosen to serve as the Ronald P. Stanton Presidential Fellow at Yeshiva University, working in the Office of Institutional Research. He enrolled in undergraduate medical education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2014, earning his Doctor of Medicine in 2018. Dr. Rackovsky completed postgraduate training as a Resident in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore from 2018-2021, during which he was inducted into the Leo M. Davidoff Society of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in recognition of outstanding contributions to medical student education.
Dr. Rackovsky’s research interests include respiratory physiology, diagnostic stewardship in the critical-care environment, and respiratory infections in children with tracheostomies. His work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, abstracts, and poster presentations.
Dr. Rackovsky is board certified in Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Society for Pediatric Sedation, and the Society for Critical Care Medicine.
