Gwendolyn Kuzmishin, DO is a second-year internal medicine resident at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital in Akron, Ohio. She has an undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology and worked in a translational hematology and oncology lab developing mouse models of lung cancer prior to attending medical school. She obtained her medical degree at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, where she recieved the Dean's Award for Excellence. She is interested in pursuing a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine and has a research interest in precapillary pulmonary hypertension. Outside of medicine, she enjoys needlepointing, skiing, and judging high school speeach and debate tournaments.
