Clinical Associate Professor

Anthony Hawkins is a clinical associate professor at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University on the Southwest GA campus. He practices in an adult medical ICU at a large community hospital and precepts pharmacy and medical students and pharmacy residents.
Anthony obtained his PharmD from UGA and completed his critical care training at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He is a proud member of the UGA Critical Care Collaborative (UGAC3), is board certified in critical care pharmacotherapy, and was named Fellow of American College of Critical Care Medicine in 2021. Anthony's current scholarly interests are fluid stewardship and development of critical care educators and he has published several peer reviewed papers in these focus areas. Outside of work, Anthony enjoys archery hunting, disc golf, craft beer, and spending time with his wife and dog.
