Dr. Tia Collier is the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit Clinical Pharmacist and Postgraduate Year (PGY) 2 Critical Care Residency Program Director at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Health REX. Dr. Collier earned her Bachelors of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree from The University of Mississippi and her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy. Dr. Collier completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS and her PGY2 Critical Care Residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Her areas of interest include sedation, analgesia, and delirium management in the critically ill, infectious diseases management, toxicology, and student/resident development. Dr. Collier serves as an integral part of the Sepsis Committee, Critical Care Service Line, Resident Education Committee, and Critical Care Team Education Committee at UNC Health REX. She is an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and serves on the Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacology Section Communications Committee. In addition, Dr. Collier is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Critical Care PRN Communication Committee. Dr. Collier is a Board Certified Critical Care Pharmacist and earned her teaching certificate from The University of Mississippi.
