Javier Lorenzo MD, is Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine at Stanford School of Medicine, and works in the Medical and Surgical ICU at Stanford University Hospital in Palo Alto, CA. He obtained his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, where he also undertook his residency in Anesthesiology and fellowship in Critical Care Medicine. He is the Acting Division Chief of the Division of Anesthesia Critical Care Medicine and the Vice Chief of Staff for Stanford HealthCare. He is an elected fellow to the College of Critical Care Medicine. His interests include process methodology/improvement, medical informatics and medical education.
