Danny Theodore M.D. Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Virginia Health System. Attended medical school at the University of South Florida and completed residency and fellowship at the University of Alabama Birmingham. Board-certified in Anesthesiology, Critical Care, and Neurocritical Care. I currently work in the cardiothoracic and neuroscience ICU. Since the pandemic, I have spent a great deal of time working in the COVID-19 ICU and creating policies and procedures for the management of patients with COVID-19. I am the Medical Director for the Department of Pulmonary Services and Diagnostic at the University of Virginia. I am also the fellowship director of the UVA anesthesia critical care fellowship. Currently Member at Large for the Respiratory Section at SCCM. Board of Directors for Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care.
