Alin Gragossian, DO, MPH completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at Drexel University, followed by a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. In 2019, while in training, she received an urgent heart transplant after being diagnosed with familial cardiomyopathy. Since then, she has embraced her unique perspective as both a patient and doctor, leveraging her voice to passionately advocate for the importance of organ donation, transplantation, and living with chronic illness. Dr. Gragossian is currently an Intensivist through Equum Medical and an Associate Medical Director for Donor Network West. She is also the Chair of the Transplant Community Advisory Counsil under American Society of Transplantation.
