Dr. Pranav Garimella is an Associate Professor at University of California San Diego School of Medicine. He is an internist and nephrologist with a primary research focus on novel diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers for kidney disease, pharmacokinetics, and drug dosing in acute and chronic kidney disease. He is the Director of the Acute Dialysis program, and the Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Center of Excellence at UC San Diego.
His research has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Center For Aids Research, Veterans Medical Research Foundation and UC San Diego.
