Julie Baldassarra, PharmD, BCPS, is a clinical pharmacy specialist currently working at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Julie received her Doctor of Pharmacy at Drake University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating, Julie completed residency at NorthShore University Health System in the suburbs of Chicago. Following completion of her residency, Julie began working at Rush and has been working there for the past 9 years. Her practice is primarily in a combined medical/surgical ICU. Her clinical interests include antimicrobial stewardship, anticoagulation managment in the critically ill, and pharmacologic management of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
