This session will review the current evidence and barriers surrounding ventilator liberation.
Learning Objectives:
Review the current literature and trends of ventilator liberation in various patient populations
Identify patients who meet the criteria for ventilator liberation
Assess for ventilator liberation at the bedside in all patients and create successful plans for patients who are difficult to liberate from mechanical ventilation
