New international guidelines on pediatric extubation were published in 2022. These guidelines will be presented by the authors, with a moderator who was not part of the guidelines committee.

  • Evaluate different types of spontaneous breathing tests (SBTs) and their relative benefits and risks
  • Evaluate other assessments of extubation readiness beyond SBTs
