Clinicians use RCTs to justify their treatments, as they are held up to be the highest quality evidence. Yet, many RCTs seem to contradict earlier studies. Is this a problem of replicability? This talk will address aspects that affect the interpretation of an RCT, including validity, generalizability, secular changes. The talk will offer tools for the clinician to use when interpreting a study.
