Dr. Foster is an EM-CCM physician at University of Texas in San Antonio and also an instructor for SCCM's POCUS course. He first published in the field of POCUS and he identified the barriers of POCUS practice. After becoming an attending, Dr. Foster idenified barriers to practice POCUS at his workplace and overcame them. He will discuss further from his personal experience and the literature regarding the barriers to use POCUS in the critical care settings.
