This speaker will review the merits, and argue that clinicians have no obligation to use their voice via social media platforms to promote public health topics. Common social media topics often used by clinicians include vaccination, gun violence and gun safety, COVID related education, and mis/disinformation campaigns. The speaker will specifically review the POSITIVE personal and professional consequences of using social media as a platform for clinicians.
