In some studies, sepsis bundles have demonstrated exceptional success; however, when uncoupled from the bundles, controversy exists surrounding certain aspects of the bundles. In this pro/con session, the data on each side of this controversy will be presented with an opportunity for attendees to share their verdict.

Review the creation of sepsis bundles, including the addition of each component
Summarize the body of evidence on which aspects of the bundle have proven successful in adults and children and evaluate the entire bundle compliance success and failure
Discuss implementation of sepsis bundles as a performance measure for hospitals and clinicians
